Boulsworth Bog
This race was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19 but should make a return in 2022
We took over the running of this previously fairly low-key fell race for the first time in 2018. It follows a different route to our regular Boulsworth Race that is part of the PBGP. Parking is available at Wycoller Country Park, Trawden Road or the one at Haworth Road – please pay at the Pay & Display machine. Kit will be dependent on the weather conditions on the day, bring best practice kit and be prepared to wear or carry it. Tea, coffee, juice and cakes will be available before and after the race in the Aisled Barn, kindly put on by St Mary's Church of Trawden, and presentations will follow. NOTE: There are no junior races at this event.
Starting from Wycoller Aisled Barn, the route heads south east along Wycoller track, joining up with the Pennine Bridleway, taking in a loop of Boulsworth Hill before heading back to the Village via Turnhole Clough. The route is partially marked and crosses private land, so no recces prior to race day are allowed.
