Blacko Tower Juniors

A race for children aged 16 and under with no lower age limit (parents or carers are welcome to run too). This is the same route as the seniors race but run separately afterwards. Prizes only awarded to local children resident in the Pendle Borough Council area.

Out and back course in total of 1.4 miles involving over 500 feet of ascent over some private land (no reconnoitring the course before hand please or you will risk having future events cancelled). The course is a mix of road, track, field and fell.

The race will start on the Blacko Recreation Ground and then involve running one and a half laps of the field before exiting onto the farm lane. It then follows a marshalled route up to the wall next to the historic Blacko Tower and returns the same way back to the recreation field to finish at the top right hand corner by the netball goal.

Changing rooms available locally. Registration will take place on Recreation Field.
