55th Three Peaks Race

We had a decent Trawden AC turn out with Molly Ralphson, William Titley, Neil Alderman, Peter Stobbs, Dave Croll and myself taking part.

It was a great day for the race, I really appreciated the few spots of rain that fell at one point in the afternoon, but for most of the day it was dry, clear and not particularly windy (except on the top of Whernside, but isn't that always the case?).

Commiserations to Molly, who after making it the summit of Whernside in just over two and a half hours had to withdraw with knee trouble. There's always next year Mol.

Congratulations to everyone else for making it to the finish, in varying states of well-being, but hopefully all suitably recovered now.

Check out the photos (sorry Neil, he must have been changing his batteries or something when you went past) and see you all there next year. Oh and I'm sure Peter wasn't saying anything unkind when he was snapped!
