Accrington 10K Road Race

There was a decent Trawden AC contingent in the 330 strong field that took to the roads around Accrington for this ever popular 10K road race. Sherif Dhaimish led them home, following up his good run in the recent Bradford Half with a 40mins 11sec time.

Well done to everyone on completing the race and good to see a couple of recent recruits to the Trawden ranks, Craig Eccles and Philip Richardson, in there as well. It's also great to see Karen Lonsdale back competing again after a long spell out of action!

And I guess Trawden runner 'Robert Brown' is actually 'Robert Smith' - maybe pretending to be Paul Brown? Dunno!
