Pendle Memorial

A fell Race to celebrate the lives of those local runners who have sadly passed away doing the sport they loved. £1 from each entry goes to the maintenance of Alan Heywood and Judith Taylor Stone (top of the largest climb), year after year. Alan and Judith ran for Clayton Harriers.

Unfortunately both lost their life pursuing the challenges they loved. Any left over money from this fund will be used to honor local runners who have tragically lost their lives doing the sport they love.

Classic Little Fell Race. 1 steady climb, 1 big climb, 1 long flat section, 1 steady decline and a crazy cross-field downhill finish to the Wellsprings Restaurant.

The Race is an AS – but please bring full kit requirements in case the weather is poor. There is every chance that no kit will be needed to carried, but if necessary part or all of the full kit requirements may be required. In this case NO KIT, NO RUN!
